The Drain Janitor automatic kitchen drain dosing system solves the problem of drain blockages in commercial kitchens through fat and grease washed from utensils coagulating in the drain causing blockages by pumping a chemical into the drain to emulsify and disperse the fats.The Drain Janitor 9V cleaning unit comprises a 24 hour time clock which allows up to 4 operating periods to be set each day. This controls a pump which can be run to discharge a fixed amount of chemical at any of the 4 operating periods. For example a 2 minute run time delivers 100 ml of chemical which is the usual rate for most kitchens.

The 240V unit has a real time clock and a day omit feature which allows the user to set operation for each day of the week.

Drain Janitor “Plus” has an additional volt free relay available to control auxiliary equipment. The pump and auxiliary run times can be set for individual run times which will stop simultaneously.

Odour free environment

The cleaning products use contain harmless, naturally occurring micro-organisms selected for their ability to produce enzymes capable of degrading oils, fats and grease. They also produce enzyme complexes for the breakdown of other waste materials including starch, protein and vegetable matter. Surfactants aid the emulsification of grease, making it more available for the micro-organisms to digest.
